We are Pest, an organic and social farm born from the desire to regenerate the land and give it back life.
We don't come from peasant families, but from a shared choice: to return to the land, get our hands dirty, learn from the rhythms of nature, and spread a different model of production and life.
Like weeds—stubborn, resilient, always ready to sprout—we take root even in forgotten places, to transform them into fertile, living, and welcoming spaces.
Since 2019 we have been cultivating 6 hectares of land and a small farmhouse in Noci (BA), to which others have been added 12 hectares in Putignano, around the splendid Casina Cinquepozzi. Here we experiment with regenerative agriculture practices, plant woodlands, create agroforests, and care for the soil, because we believe that farming means, above all, giving back.
Our mission is simple and radical: do not exploit, but accompany nature.
We respect its balance, we listen to its rhythms, we commit ourselves to leaving the earth better than we found it.
But Infestante is not just agriculture. It is also social laboratoryA place for relationships, exchanges, and community. We organize educational and cultural activities, shared experiences in the fields, training programs, and job placements. We believe that agriculture can be a tool for inclusion, emancipation and dignity, not exploitation.
Each of our products—wine, oil, pasta, tomato puree—is the fruit of this journey: simple, sincere, and authentic, like the land from which it is born.
We are farmers you wouldn't expect, and perhaps that's why we're so deeply rooted.
Because we believe that a different kind of agriculture is possible, and we are working every day to make it a reality.
