Product information

Information

Roots is ours Red Puglia IGT, the fruit of a one-hectare parcel at 370 meters above sea level in the Putignano countryside. Here, the Primitivo grows among wild herbs and a light breeze, in a rich and complex ecosystem that gives the wine a unique personality.

The harvest takes place by hand, in small boxes, with careful manual sorting of the best bunches. In the cellar, winemaking follows a simple and respectful approach: 30% whole bunch, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, extraction via soft pigeages. The wine ages for 10 months, half in steel and half in amphora, without filtration.

In the glass, Radici expresses a surprising aromatic freshness, thanks to whole-bunch fermentation that releases Mediterranean notes and small red fruits. The palate is juicy, precise, and solid, with a fine tannic texture that faithfully reflects its terroir.

Produced in limited quantities, is an “unconventional” Primitivo: radical, contemporary, deeply tied to the land.
